Quality Control Inspector

Compensation
$32-$42/hr depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform in-process, receiving, and final inspections of precision aerospace parts
• Interpret engineering drawings and inspect to GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) standards
• Operate and program CMM machines (CMM Manager software used)
• Document inspection findings, including First Article Inspections (AS9102C)
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers on quality issues and resolutions
• Maintain inspection documentation and compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001
• Use a full range of inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.

What You'll Need to be Considered

• Experience in aerospace inspection environments
• Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality systems
• Ability to program and operate CMM equipment
• Strong grasp of metrology and GD&T principles
• Comfortable working with tight-tolerance, low-volume/high-mix parts
• CNC machining or setup knowledge is a strong plus
