Job descriptionMS in Electrical Engineering 3+ years of experience on electrical components engineering, manufacture, process control Broad knowledge of electronic and semiconductor components and suppliers Solid background in electronic and semiconductor components including memory, CPU / MCU, FPGA, timing components Familiar with Industrial standard like IC package, JEDEC standards Strong communication skills internally, externally with contract manufacturer and component supplier Familiar with product development management tools Familiar with Agile system is a plus
CA Pay Range (Annual) :
112,000.00 - $208,000.00
At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible forequity grants,discretionary bonuses,orcommission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and / or individual employee job performance.

As a Senior Electrical Component Engineer, your key responsibilities will be :
- Manage electronic components life cycle
- Closely work with supply chain team to provide technical support
- Support production engineering, design team for electrical component / supplier selection and qualification
- Work with contract manufacturer and component suppliers to qualify components
- Drive component failure analysis activities and supplier corrective actions
- Routinely monitor supplier’s component quality
- Work with supplier chain team to find alternative components in terms of shortage
- Provide technical support to reduce supply risk, reduce cost of components
- Review and manage component suppliers’ PCN and coordinate with internal team for further actions
- Data analysis to monitor supplier component performance and reliability
- Frequently communicate with global internal teams and component suppliers
