IMC is currently looking for a Speech Therapist to join our team on a Part-time the general supervision of the Director of Rehab Services the Speech Therapist will be responsiblefor administration management and direct application of Speech / LanguagePathology treatments and modalities asprescribed by a referring physician in the hospitals inpatient and outpatientsettings. The Speech Therapist evaluates plansdirects and treats all patients referred to speech / language Pathology. Provides treatments to restore function andprevent disability following disease or patients to obtain maximum performance and function in societywhile learning to live a routine normal life within the constraints of theirdisability.
QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION / LICENSURE / / TRAINING & EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum of a Masters Degree in SpeechPathology from an approved school.
- Current valid SLP Licensure in Louisiana or a temporary permit granted bystate board.
- Successful completion of long termclinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient environments from an accredited ST school or one year ofrecent experience in inpatient or outpatient practice.
