Job descriptionProvide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department Assess, diagnose, and stabilize acute medical conditions Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR Respond to critical situations in a timely and effective manner Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license Recent ER experience in similar size facilities required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Dec 24, 2025. The schedule includes two 12-hour day shifts and one 12-hour day shift with varying hours. The ideal candidate will have recent ER experience in similar sized facilities and be comfortable working with Epic EMR.
