Lexington Clinic is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join a well-established community cancer treatment facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Lexington Clinic has been a leader in cancer care in central Kentucky since 1983. Together with Lexington Clinic, Markey Cancer Center operates two full-service community cancer care locations.

This full-time role (Monday-Friday) offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient care, including hospital rounding, patient evaluations, coordination of care with physicians, consultations, follow-up visits, and participation in the on-call rotation.

Summary of Role
As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will closely partner with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Perform medical services and procedures within the scope of your medical license.Conduct patient histories and physicalsInterpret clinical data and develop care plansRecommend and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic proceduresSupport treatment management and follow-up careBuild meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleaguesMaintain all requirements to maintain the license including CMEs.Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teamsEducate patients and families about treatment options and care goalsEnsure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patientsThis role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a lasting impact on patients and their loved ones.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program; current APRN licensure in good standing (Kentucky or applicable state)Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification or eligibility preferredOR graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and Kentucky state licensure (or eligibility)Prior hematology / oncology or inpatient experience preferredCurrent Healthcare Provider CPR certification requiredPhysical Requirements
