Responsibilities Position is in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting Patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients Rare pediatric cases possible Nurses use Servo vents and LTVs, as well as Vapotherm and V60 BiPAPs Responsibilities include vent management, drips, arterial and central line management, and responding to codes Charting is done using Allscripts, Paragon, or McKesson Shifts are 12 hours, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM Minimum of three nurses scheduled per shift Floating to Med Surg units required as needed Charge duties may be assigned during shifts COVID-19 vaccine is not required; proof or declination is accepted Flu vaccine or declination is required; mask must be worn if declining the flu vaccine Flu vaccination deadline is October 31 Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment Requirements Active NY RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required AHA NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on Stroke related topics required before start date At least 2 years of ICU experience required Previous ICU travel RN experience required Must be charge capable Must successfully complete a proctored EKG exam on Day 1 Ability to float to Medical Surgical units Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631956.
