The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Banner University Medicine Tucson is seeking an exceptional Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to become part of our thriving hand surgery practice. Requirements

Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery : Hand
Fellowship Training
NIH Research funding is a plus

Job Details

1.0 FTE | Clinic Days | Surgical Days

Elective & Trauma Hand Surgical Facilities

Teach and mentor students / residents / fellows

Research support for any NIH-funded candidates

Practice Profile

Department led by Dr. Elfar, who serves as Department Chair and is also a Hand and Upper Extremity surgeon

22 Orthopedic Surgeons (including 4 Hand & Upper Extremity), Trauma, Foot & Ankle, Spine, Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, and General Orthopaedics

20 Orthopaedic residents, 2 Fellows (1 Hand & 1 Sports Med)

10 APPs

Dedicated MA, casting support, and nurse navigator / educator for joint replacement
