Job description

Job Title : Sr. Billing Representative

Location : Houston, TX

Contract : 4-months contract with possible extension

Shift : 08 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Hours Per week : 40 hours per week

What are the top responsibilities for this position :

Scheduling,
Rescheduling patients,
Registration of patients,
Insurance verification,
Taking copays / payments & confirmation calls for all 11 providers.
People skills, being able to communicate with the patients, computer knowledge (Epic knowledge is helpful).

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have previous medical billing experience, authorization experience and know how to navigate the major payor portals.

Oncology experience is a plus but not required.

What type of interview process is preferred : In-Person.
