Responsibilities :
You will be responsible for collecting payments from customers and maintaining financial recordsContact customers by phone and email for payment of invoicesAccess customer portals to resolve issues and obtain payment informationAssist with account setup / review by handling credit applications, accessing credit reports, and following up with referencesPost customer payments and compile remittance / supporting documentsVerify validity of discrepancies, unapplied cash, and credit memos by investigating and reconciling accountsMonitor outstanding accounts receivables and prioritize collection effortsFollow accounting procedures and policiesMonth-end closing tasks, including creating reportsOther administrative duties as assignedQualifications :
Preferably two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility, but willing to train the right candidateStrong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite and accounting softwareKnowledge of and experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds or the CDK (ADP) DMS systems is a plusExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAble to deal with confidential information appropriatelyStrong attention to detail and interest in accuracyStrong problem solving and analytical skillsNielsen Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
