An all-in-one well-known bookkeeping firm based in Houston is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Events Director to join their growing team. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving revenue, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to strategic growth.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client segments.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets, with a strong focus on closing high-value deals.
- Oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of tradeshows, conferences, and corporate events.
- Define event objectives aligned with commercial goals and target audience engagement.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, vendor management, booth design, and on-site execution.
- Lead pre-event marketing, post-event follow-up, and conversion tracking of leads generated.
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and build relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts.
- Travel 1–2 times per month to attend meetings, events, or site visits based on business needs.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate work experienceProven experience in a sales and events roles (hospitality industry experience is a plus)Proven track record of consistently closing high-value deals in a B2B or B2C environment.Demonstrated success in planning and executing impactful tradeshows and industry events.Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance creative event strategy and sales targets.Proficiency in accounting software, Restaurant 365, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in business development or partnership managementFamiliarity with trade shows, expos, and industry networking eventsMultilingual skills or international sales exposure is a plusCompensation Package :
