Company Description

Farda is building the world’s smartest medication security and adherence system — combining AI, IoT, and beautiful product design into a single medical‑grade pill vial.

Medication management is broken. People forget doses, mix medications, lose track of schedules, and lack visibility.

We’re fixing this with secure hardware + real‑time software driven by AI.

In the past few months, we’ve :

  • 🧠 Developed AI‑driven adherence and analytics flows
  • 👨🏭 Finalized hardware prototyping with all components in‑hand
  • 🏭 Selected and secured our manufacturing partner
  • 📄 Filed provisional patents
  • ⚕️ Aligned ourselves for Class I Medical Device Registration
  • 💸 Raised over $69,000 in funding (angel + pre‑seed commitments)
  • 🚀 Positioned ourselves for launch in Q1 2026

We’re now ready to bring on a Founding Technical Engineer who can connect hardware → firmware → mobile → cloud with precision — and help take Farda to market.

This is not a “job.” It’s a founding seat.

Your Role at Farda

  • Architect and own the technical bridge between IoT hardware, BLE / Wi‑Fi connectivity, and mobile apps
  • Build and configure APIs from scratch (from database models → endpoints → integrations)
  • Work directly with the founding team to transform UI / UX designs into pixel‑perfect, production‑ready interfaces
  • Participate in firmware → software integration and help align manufacturing testing protocols
  • Build dashboards, internal tools, and operational software to support GTM + clinical partners
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with hardware engineers, designers, and GTM operators
  • Influence technical direction and own major decisions around architecture, stack, and reliability
  • Partner with founders to hit milestones required for medical compliance and go‑to‑market
  • You’ll be joining extremely early — where your fingerprints will touch everything we launch.
  • Technical Experience

  • Proven implementation experience (or ability to demonstrate built end‑to‑end projects)
  • Built dashboards, internal tools, or full‑stack apps
  • Comfortable working with UI / UX teams and can replicate designs with near‑perfect fidelity
  • Experience with IoT, robotics, hardware projects, or BLE / Wi‑Fi integrations
  • Experience working with APIs, configuring them, and creating new APIs from scratch
  • Solid understanding of backend infrastructure and database creation
  • Coding Languages (any subset is fine)

  • Flutter (Dart) or React Native (JS / TS)
  • Able to work with our iOS / Android stack and integrate hardware‑triggered events
  • Databases

  • MongoDB
  • AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, IoT Core ideally)
  • Design / Implementation Tools

  • Strong experience in Figma
  • Can take wireframes → working app screens
  • Has worked with BI or dashboard tools (custom or platforms)
  • Mindset & Cultural Fit - This matters more than anything else.
  • We need someone who :

  • Stanford preferred (CS / EE / MCS), but exceptional candidates from anywhere are welcome
  • Thinks like a founder, not an employee
  • Moves fast, executes relentlessly, and is allergic to bureaucracy
  • Is willing to put the startup above themselves during key build cycles
  • Learns quickly and thrives in ambiguityWants to create something meaningful with global impact
  • Can collaborate across hardware, software, and GTM
  • Meaningful equity, tied to contribution & milestones
  • Work directly alongside a deeply driven founding team
  • Shape the product, architecture, and technical culture from day zero
  • Rare 0→1 experience across hardware + software + medical compliance + AI
  • Ownership, speed, no red tape — just execution
  • If you want to build something hard, important, and technically ambitious — and join a founding team solving a real‑world healthcare problem — Farda is the place.
