VARYING Must gave GROSSING experience

Bachelors degree in Science, PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED

Would like someone who at least has grossed biopsies and has lots of experience with IHC, performance on the Leica BOND MAX

Current NYS license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist CLT, Medical Technologist MT or Histotechnologist HTL 1 plus years grossing experience REQUIRED

Responsible for the accurate gross description, dissection and processing of all biopsies, routine and moderate complexity tissue specimens according to established protocols under the direct supervision of the Pathologist andor Pathology Supervisor. Participates in limited technical activities of the Pathology department when needed, such as accessioning, staining, cover slipping, routine maintenance and cytology specimen preparation
