CNC Machinist Responsibilities :

  • Set up, Operate, and Maintain Precision Equipment (drills, lathes, and mills)for accurate product manufacturing
  • Program precision equipment according to per-job specifications
  • Get information from all relevant sources and apply the latest knowledge to the work.
  • Perform inspections of equipment, materials, and products.
  • Analyze information and find the best solutions to problems.
  • Maintain clear and honest communication at all times.
  • Keep the work environment safe.

CNC Machinist Skills

  • Understands the operations of drills, lathes, and milling equipment.
  • Problem Solving Skills : Know why machines arent at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.
  • Attention to Detail : work with precision equipment, measurements have tight tolerances. Being off could be a critical error.
  • Mechanical and Technical skills : Machines controlled by computers will need operators who understand CAD / CAM tech.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.Read schematics, blueprints, and other documentation.
  • Understanding of mathematics.
  • Self-motivation
  • Ethical behavior.
  • Stamina : Often work long hours doing repetitive movements

  • Full-time, Day Shift 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm with overtime opportunities
  • Required Education : - High School Diploma or GED
  • Compensation : - $15.00 to $25.00 / hour Dependent on Experience
