Rink Attendant

Overview :

Seeking a reliable and hardworking Rink Attendant to join our team at Ben Boeke Ice arena This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of our ice rink and sports facilities. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to perform a variety of tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our staff, guests, and athletes.

Key Responsibilities :

Post-Event Cleanup : (Foundation of each employee’s schedule – agreed upon at hire).

• Pick up trash (partial drinks, beer cans, food trays, straws, swizzle sticks, limes, etc.).
• Sweep lower bowl first, then balcony.
• Prepare area for mopping.

Mezzanine Level Bathrooms & Corridors :

Note : Vendors are responsible for bagging and tying off their own trash. Employees will transport these bags to the compactor but will not enter or clean vendor spaces.

Additional Duties :

Assist with any transforming the ice rink into event-ready flooring (e.g., flat show, cage fight, etc.).

Clean bleacher seats, rink glass, storage areas, etc.

Clear trash and cans from locker rooms (Rooms 3-6, Press Room, etc.).

Support general maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

This is an hourly position; starting rate will be based on experience.
