As the Safety Manager, you will lead and support Yancey's safety programs across multiple locations. Reporting directly to the EHS Director, you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team of safety professionals.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities :

• Leadership and Culture : Champion a culture of safety throughout the organization, promoting accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of safety professionals across various sites.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to integrate safety into daily business practices.
• Program Management : Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor safety KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Lead risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and site audits.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and training.
• Training and Communication : Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• Communicate safety expectations, performance, and initiatives clearly and effectively.
• Serve as a key liaison between field operations and corporate EHS leadership.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through data analysis and field observations.
• Lead cross-functional safety initiatives and projects.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
