Job descriptionWork in an acute care hospital's X-ray department with 2 X-ray rooms and 1 fluoro room Patient cases include general X-rays, portable exams, OR cases, fluoro, and swallow studies Typical night shift schedule : Wednesday 5 : 30 PM–6 : 00 AM, Saturday–Sunday 7 : 00 PM–7 : 30 AM 170 patients seen per day across department Night shift staff may not need fluoro experience Calls : 2–3 standby call shifts per month Uses EPIC EMR, Change Healthcare PACS, Siemens standard X-ray / fluoro, portable Shimadzu, MedRad injector, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis Little to no floating expected; portable X-ray work may be required Support staff available including Lead X-ray Tech, Respiratory Therapy, hospitalists, RRT, and radiologists Radiologists are available during days and off site at night X-ray technologists are responsible for transporting their own patients Scrubs of any color allowed; must present professionally with no logos or designs COVID vaccination is required Free parking is available on site Expect every other holiday coverage Initial orientation provided, generally 1 week with possibility for extension Schedule follows a repeating cycle, with fixed weekends and minimal alterations Current BLS and ARRT certifications required Valid state license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience in a large Level III or higher trauma facility Acute care and trauma, general X-ray, OR experience required Prior experience with patient types listed is necessary First-time travelers accepted if they meet experience requirements High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
