Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for 12-hour night shifts at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring BLS, ARRT, and relevant state license.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care hospital's X-ray department with 2 X-ray rooms and 1 fluoro roomPatient cases include general X-rays, portable exams, OR cases, fluoro, and swallow studiesTypical night shift schedule : Wednesday 5 : 30 PM–6 : 00 AM, Saturday–Sunday 7 : 00 PM–7 : 30 AM170 patients seen per day across departmentNight shift staff may not need fluoro experienceCalls : 2–3 standby call shifts per monthUses EPIC EMR, Change Healthcare PACS, Siemens standard X-ray / fluoro, portable Shimadzu, MedRad injector, Alaris IV pumps, and PyxisLittle to no floating expected; portable X-ray work may be requiredSupport staff available including Lead X-ray Tech, Respiratory Therapy, hospitalists, RRT, and radiologistsRadiologists are available during days and off site at nightX-ray technologists are responsible for transporting their own patientsScrubs of any color allowed; must present professionally with no logos or designsCOVID vaccination is requiredFree parking is available on siteExpect every other holiday coverageInitial orientation provided, generally 1 week with possibility for extensionSchedule follows a repeating cycle, with fixed weekends and minimal alterationsRequirements
