Monte Nido Vista is a dedicated residential treatment program for adults facing challenges such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction. Our approach centers on restoring nutritional balance, implementing healthy routines, and fostering engagement in recovery. We aim to help each client fully understand their eating and exercise behaviors and develop a personalized path to recovery.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our exceptional team at Monte Nido . This vital role is part of both the leadership and clinical teams, collaborating closely with various disciplines to deliver optimal care for our clients.

Nutrition programming across our facilities is based on the foundational principles of health, freedom from disordered behaviors, and the gradual development of self-trust and intuitive eating. Our clients progress from repairing their relationship with food to embracing a fulfilling recovered life.

Our HAES-informed nutritional care emphasizes :

Recognition that recovery is possible in all body shapes and sizes
The belief that all individuals deserve nourishment and the experience of satiety
Behavior-focused philosophies rather than weight-focused approaches
Understanding that attempts at weight loss are not beneficial for recovery from eating disorders
Accessible and open kitchens that create a homelike environment

Schedule : Monday to Friday, with a late start on Mondays

Salary : $68,000 - $100,000 per year

This position may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities Include :

Overseeing all meals prepared for clients on-site while maintaining proper documentation.

Ensuring all nutritional services meet established standards and regulations.

Conducting nutrition assessments of clients and monitoring their nutrition intake.

Participating in the treatment team’s formulation of the Master Treatment Plan.

Qualifications :

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related human services field.

At least one year of experience (or internship) in a healthcare or psychiatric setting is preferred.

Must hold the appropriate Registered Dietitian credential.

CPR / BLS certification is required before starting work.

Strong computer skills are necessary.

A passion for excellence in client care is essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
