Gastroenterology and Rheumatology Jobs in Alabama Physician

Both positions are located within easy driving distance to Birmingham and Atlanta in a community that offers many recreational lakes and the most beautiful Gulf beaches in the U.S. The city is home to eight colleges and universities. It is a cultural haven with two professional dance companies, a symphony orchestra, the world s sixth largest Shakespearean theater and the Museum of Fine Arts. Fine dining, diverse shopping, nationally recognized sporting activities.

Gastroenterology Position

  • Excellent opportunity to build a practice to incoming physician s specifications
  • Advanced GI program will be built around the incoming provider
  • Huge referral base ad no competition for EUS
  • Very collegial group with excellent relationship with the private group
  • Fast turnover times in the Surgery Center endoscopy suite
  • Currently call is 1 in 5 / weeks, but if another GI hired will be 1 in 6 / weeks

Benefits Highlights

  • Base salary range : $480,000 to $500,000
  • Production bonus structure : $60 / wRVU
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, disability, retirement, profit sharing plan, malpractice, etc.

  • Outpatient only, no inpatient responsibilities required
  • Anticipated Volume : Average 18-20 patients / day and Average 10 injections / week
  • Practice Call, which is light
