Sr. Databricks Architect / Tech Lead -W2 (Remote)

Job Summary (Azure Architect / Technical Lead - Master Person Index, Microsoft Fabric)

• Lead the architecture and hands-on implementation of a Master Person Index (MPI) solution in Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and manage secure, scalable data pipelines and APIs for identity resolution and person matching across domains.
• Oversee technical delivery, integrating Azure resources such as Data Factory, Synapse, Purview, Key Vault, and Event Grid.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product owners, architects) to ensure enterprise-aligned solutions.
• Define and implement CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
• Enforce governance, security, and compliance best practices in all technical deliverables.
• Leverage 8+ years of cloud engineering experience (5+ in Azure), with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure DevOps.
• Apply expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), MPI, or identity resolution frameworks, with a strong understanding of security protocols, data lineage, and auditability.
