Company Description

We are a family practice clinic that has been in business for over 25 years under Dr. Cliff Cartwright and will continue under a transition to Clifton Wesley Cartwright, Family Nurse Practitioner. We see patients of all ages and take care of acute and chronic conditions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role based in Booneville, MS. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician or Family Nurse Practitioner. Daily tasks will include taking vital signs, drawing blood for testing, administering injections of ordered medications, documenting patient records, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with medical procedures, and providing patient education on treatment plans and health maintenance.

Salary is negotiable but will start at $20 / hr with annual raises standard.

Salary also includes vacation days is generally paid for 40hrs a week even if we only work 32 hours a week with half days on Thurs and Fri and off every weekend.

No insurance is included.

Qualifications

• Clinical care skills, including patient assessment, administering medications, and wound care
• Recordkeeping and documentation skills with proficiency in handling electronic health records
• Interpersonal and communication skills to provide quality care and patient education
• Organization and time management skills to effectively manage tasks in a clinical setting
• Current LPN license in the state of Mississippi and compliance with continuing education requirements
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus but not required
• Compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care
• Experience in family practice or primary care is a plus
