Med / Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Biddeford, Maine (Zip : 04005) – Maine travel nursing opportunity

Setting : Hospital Float Pool, Med / Surg Telemetry Unit

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 15 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 (Weekend shifts may be required)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Electronic Medical Record : EPIC

Dress Code : Scrubs (any color, no offensive language)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2050-$2200

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or compact state

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips; EMR documentation experience (EPIC preferred)

Strong teamwork skills; adaptable and reliable for float pool assignments

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med / Surg Telemetry patients in a hospital environment

Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry strips and changes in patient condition

Accurately document patient care and assessments in EPIC EMR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Float to other hospital units as needed, supporting various patient populations

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional healthcare work environment
