Position Summary

The Pediatric Registered Dietitian II will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nutritional care for our inpatient population. This role includes evaluating medical, biochemical, and nutritional information, developing individualized care plans, and providing mentorship to dietetic technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutritional care to inpatient populations.
• Assess patient needs through medical, biochemical, and nutritional evaluations.
• Develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans.
• Assist in supervising and supporting the daily work of dietetic technicians.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in NutritionExperience with complex pediatric diagnoses / conditions is preferredCNSC highly valued

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.Current Massachusetts Dietitian license.

Strong analytical skills to address complex clinical challenges.Effective communication and conflict-resolution skills.Well-developed writing ability for documentation and communication.Spanish language skills a plus.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
