Automation Technician - Electronics

Position Overview

The Automation Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of automated equipment used in production. This role ensures manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and up time by supporting robotics, PLCs, conveyors, vision systems, and other automation technologies within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated manufacturing equipment, including robotics, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation systems.
• Support process improvements by implementing upgrades or modifications to existing equipment.
• Assist engineering teams with equipment programming, calibration, and integration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and support a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide technical support for production staff and train operators on automation equipment as needed.
