Certified Medical Assistant

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to work remotely at a rate of $17 per hour starting on 4 / 16 / 26.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and respond to prescription refill requests through various communication channels

Verify the validity and accuracy of prescription refill requests and prepare them for dispensing

Provide administrative support to clinical staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes

Required Qualifications

High school graduate or GED equivalent

Certification as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or as a Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists

At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or medical office environment

Knowledge of medical terminology and medications

Strong computer experience, including proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Outlook and Word
