Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P., is seeking a skilled individual for our MHE Fleet Manager position with our logistics organization at our Daikin Technology Park- Waller, TX location. The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of a company's fleet of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) vehicles to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency. This role involves managing vehicle acquisition, maintenance, scheduling, and tracking while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Works closely with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to achieve operational excellence and support organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities
May include :
Oversee and manage the maintenance, repairs and schedule for over 500 vehicles across 8 buildings.Ensure the outside providers and drivers adhere to all relevant regulations, including safety standards and transportation laws.Develop and maintain efficient procedures and processes to maintain efficiency.Monitor and maintain all compliance records including daily log files.Negotiate all commercial and service aspects of MHE upkeep and procurement.Responsible for $2+ million budget forWork closely with site managers, MHE service providers and Finance to ensure projects are completed on budget and on time.Ability to perform safety checks as per MHE Requirements.Manage and ensure all company policies and procedures are communicated, interpreted and followed.Process and enter maintenance work orders.Implement and enforce safety protocols.Conduct regular safety checks with branch and warehouse managers on MHE condition and Safety Compliance.Provide regular reports to management and able to administer and run quarterly safety meetings.Ensure all drivers have proper up to date training and train new employees as needed.Negotiate and coordinate the renewal of all leases with the various lease providers.Review and approve all maintenance and repair invoice.Schedule for installation and removals of all GPS equipment as needed.Train staff as neededReview video violations to determine accuracy and work with drivers on each occurrence.Perform other tasks as assignedNature & Scope

8 plus years in a MHE Environment and Management Role4 plus years in a managerial / leadership roleEducation / Certification
