ROLE AND PURPOSE : Perform various instructional materials warehouse duties including, but not limited to : driving trucks, making deliveries, filling orders, loading / unloading trucks, and taking inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum Education / Certification :
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas drivers' license with a satisfactory driving record
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Proficiency in all general office skillsComputer skills to include knowledge of office softwareSelf-motivated with the ability to work under pressure of deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsAble to operate warehouse equipment, including but not limited to fork lift, pallet jacks and picker.Able to drive a large box truckMust be physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistanceMust be willing to work overtime as neededMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Supports the instructional material inventory program for the district, including entering requisitions, pick tickets, inventories, transfers, filing and responding to campus requests;Supports the Instructional Material warehouse in receiving and shipping of materials from and to vendors and the campuses;Assists Instructional Materials Employees in delivery and pickup of instructional materials from locations in the district;Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Coordinator of Instructional Materials and the Director of Information and Instructional Systems.
