Currently hiring Fleet Maintenance Mechanic. Hours : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm. No evenings. No weekends! Raises : Employees receive a raise on their anniversary date each year. Plus a 6% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) in January 2026 and January 2027 per the Union contract.

Responsibilities

Performs intermediate work maintaining and repairing City equipment and vehicles, implements preventative maintenance programs and schedules, conducts vehicle and mechanical system analyses and inspections, maintains files and records, and related work as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year experience in auto or diesel mechanic, or related field. Ideal candidate has an associate\'s degree or certificate in auto or diesel mechanics
• CDL Class A within one year of hire. Training provided!
• MN Commercial Vehicle Inspector within one year of hire.
