Job Description
Directs activities of workers on mainline, slip-form concrete paving projects ranging in cost from zero to $100 million dollars by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Should possess a thorough working knowledge of a variety of Gomaco paving machines. May be designated to work away from home for extended periods according to project's needs.
Responsibilities
Read, understand, interpret, and enforce safety policies and practices.Read and understand plans, specifications and local building codes.Schedules and documents all required inspections, quality testing, or other compliance requirements.Comply with and document environmental permits and inspections.Read and understand global project schedules and generate two-week construction schedules weekly.Schedule and order materials, inspections and manpower in order to meet project schedules and specifications.Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.Confers with and directs personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.Maintain a general knowledge of equipment used on the job including basic understanding of equipment limits and designed purposes.Negotiate Change OrdersPrepare and update monthly a P3 scheduling for all jobsMonthly tracking of profit and loss on all jobsWeekly tracking of Labor performance on all jobsAssume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives / division manager.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college, technical school or university in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.A minimum of 5 years of supervising Concrete projects as a Project ManagerA minimum of 7+ years of concrete construction experience.A minimum of 7 years of work experience and understanding of all phases of heavy concrete construction.5+ years of experience of Portland Cement Concrete Paving (PCCP) field concepts, practices, and procedures.Be a team player who is self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight, multiple, and sometimes conflicting deadlines.Equal Opportunity Employer
