Position Overview :

Royal Community Support is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an individual in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with community-based support, small outings, and activities that promote independence and integration within the community.

We have part-time roles offering  the following schedules available :

1.Mon 7 : 30A-9, Tu & Wed 7 : 30A-9 and 3P-11P, Saturday and Sunday 9a-5p

2.Tuesday and Sunday's a few hours each day. (late Morning to late afternoon-8 hrs)

3. Monday to Friday 9 : 00am-11 : 00am / 12 : 00pm. Monday, Wed, Friday 4 : 00pm-8 : 00pm. Tuesday and Thursday 3 : 00pm-5 : 30pm. Saturday and Sunday 10 : 00am-4 : 00pm

4. Monday-Friday 3 : 30pm-7 : 30pm

5.Monday thru Friday between 8A-4P-M

5. Mon / Tues / Wed Late Morning into the afternoon-

6. Monday 9 : 00am-3 : 00pm or 8 : 00am-2 : 00pm

Key Responsibilities :

Provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement.

Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.

Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.

Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.

Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.

Ability to work legally in the United States.

Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.

Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
