P1 Tax Advisors is a boutique tax advisory practice practice located in Charleston, SC. Ryan Roe, our founder, is a 3rd generation owner of the Pinnacle 1 Tax network, a family-owned group of 30 retail tax offices operating since the 1980's. We are hiring as part of our new venture, P1 Tax Advisors, an upscale Tax Advisory practice. We also provide Tax Preparation & Expert Accounting Oversight to select clients. Our team works with individuals and small businesses, offering tax preparation, planning, bookkeeping, and advisory services. Ryan Roe has over 6 years of experience, has passed all 4 CPA examinations, and is actively submitting his application. In addition Roland Minnis, a licensed CPA, is part of the team in-house providing over 30 years of expert guidance.

While we are nestled inside of Pinnacle 1 Tax, a retail tax firm serving over 4000 clients annually, P1 Tax Advisors services just over 100 clients. This allows us to provide a premium service, maximum client value, & better work life balance.

We are seeking a motivated Tax Accountant to assist with individual & business tax preparation as well as bookkeeping to select clients. Additional responsibilities will include managing a Firm Database / Client Management system, and collecting client documents. In time you will provide fulfillment on complex tax advisory implementation. You will work closely with our CPA & pending CPA to learn the skills necessary to provide this valuable, economically stable, service.

Ideal candidates, while not necessary, have experience in tax prep or accounting, are detail-oriented, and thrive in a small-office environment. We are interested not only in experience but also willingness to learn, commitment, problem solving, personal work ethic, and an excitement to start a firm!
