A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join the Retail and Events EPM team. This diverse team integrates hardware solutions for retail spaces and special events, like new product announcements, developer conferences, and store openings. These solutions are crafted to produce the best possible first customer experience and introduction to company's products. Job Responsibilities :
- Owning creation and driving alignment with cross functional partners on retail roadmap. Driving execution of committed roadmap.
- Defining project scope and driving alignment throughout development.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing Retail EPM team.
- Headcount planning for Retail EPM team
- Identifying and directing all resources required to execute successful projects.
- Collaborating and facilitating communication across a variety of cross functional teams and OEM partners to meet aggressive cost, schedule, and quality goals.
- Filtering and distilling relevant information for appropriate audiences.
- Understanding technical issues and driving them to closure in a timely manner by bringing together key partners for decision-making.
- Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management.
- Providing project status across a wide spectrum of individuals, including executives.
- Traveling both domestically and internationally to piece part and assembly vendors to drive schedule and builds. Education and Experience :
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in project management delivering products comprised of multiple materials and high aesthetic quality.
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering is preferred.
- MBA and / or PMP certification preferred.
- Mandarin fluency is a bonus.
- Comfortable to drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives.

- Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision-making.
