GEM Service provides comprehensive services and technologies to keep facilities operating at peak efficiency for occupants. Services include HVAC and plumbing, testing / balancing, electrical, ductwork cleaning, facility management, energy procurement and building automation controls. Based in Toledo, Ohio since 1999, GEM Service is part of the Rudolph Libbe Group, serving customers in the Toledo, Cleveland and Lima, and Central Ohio markets as well as southeastern Michigan.

GEM Service is searching for a detail oriented, highly driven person to join our growing team as an Accounting Clerk in our NW Ohio office. You will be part of the passionate and entrepreneurial GEM Service team where you will be responsible for processing payroll, new account set-up, project / job set-ups, and other potential needs of the accounting department.

Weekly payroll processing for service technicians.

New customer and vendor setup and onboarding.

Assist regional offices with new vendor form completions.

Set up and maintain customer portals.

Set up of all new projects, jobs, and field quotes.

Assist with tasks as directed by Service Accounting Supervisor.

Strong communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Organized and have the ability to multitask.

Ability to work well and contribute in a team environment.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Fluent in Microsoft Office.

High school diploma is required.

Construction / service industry is a plus.

3+ years accounting experience is a plus.
