Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Candidates must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with a score of 83% or higher before signing the contract.

Candidates will have three attempts to pass the examination.

Comfortable working with IMCU patients.

Familiar with vents, ABGs, A-lines, central lines, drains, and wound care.

Experience with titrating drips is required.

Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for an Intensive Care Unit.

The unit consists of 36 beds, with 24 dedicated to ICU and 12 for IMCU.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-acuity patients, including those with complex surgical and medical conditions.

Patient-nurse ratios are 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 in ICU and 1 : 3 in IMCU.

Candidates should have experience with open-heart surgeries, trauma, respiratory distress, and medical patients in need of critical care.

The role involves potential precepting responsibilities as needed.

RNs are expected to troubleshoot equipment, read and interpret telemetry strips, and manage various cardiac drips.

There is a shared charge nurse model for rapid responses and support.

RT support is available 24 / 7 for patient care.

Candidates should be prepared for a rotating schedule with weekend commitments.

This position works as part of a close-knit team and involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals.

Travelers are encouraged to apply, but should be open to working primarily in PCU assignments.
