Operating Room ( OR ) Nurse

in Lafayette

As an OR Nurse (RN), you will :

  • Assess patients prior to surgery and implement appropriate nursing care
  • Provide surgical patients with post-operative care and monitor vital signs
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures
  • Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

    • A few must-haves for OR Nurses :

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with in the state of Indiana
  • 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
  • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
  • Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
