DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Accident and Illness Prevention Analyst , you will play a vital role in improving workplace safety across the Commonwealth. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for auditing accident and illness prevention programs and services provided by organizations, insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and group self-insurance funds to ensure compliance with state regulations. Your work will involve reviewing annual reports, conducting both on-site and remote audits, and evaluating the effectiveness of safety initiatives. You will provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, identify areas where improvements are needed, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure those changes are successfully implemented. This position offers the opportunity to travel throughout the Commonwealth, visiting a variety of workplaces across different industries. You will also prepare detailed reports and correspondence that document your findings and help shape safer work environments. Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period. New employees are expected to be onsite for the first four weeks of employment. The time could be extended to ensure training is completed. At that point, new employees may transition to part-time telework with supervisor approval. The expectation will be that employees will be onsite for up to three days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
