The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., and may include weekday call, with weekend call required every 5-7 weekends (Friday 5 : 00 p.m. to Monday 7 : 00 a.m.). The scope of practice includes general anesthesia for GI, orthopedic, GYN, L&D, and minor trauma cases, with a key need for OBGYN coverage and call on both weekdays and weekends.
