Join Our Pediatric Neurology Team in Saginaw, MI! Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine, in collaboration with a reputable health care provider, is seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to enhance our expanding Pediatrics Department. Job Responsibilities : Assess and treat pediatric patients requiring neurological care, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. Participate actively in our new pediatric residency program, contributing to the education of residents and medical students. Engage in teaching opportunities and foster positive learning environments. Involvement in research and academic pursuits with designated time for scholarly activities. Provide high-quality clinical care utilizing a vast primary care referral network covering over 20 counties. Participate in leadership activities; opportunities for a leadership role available for qualified candidates. Interpret EEG and sleep studies as part of clinical services. Embrace flexibility to adapt in order to meet the needs of candidates and the program's success. Qualifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with a Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Completion of fellowship training in Child Neurology prior to start date. Strong clinical skills and keen interest in pediatric teaching and research. Excellence in patient care and communication. Desire to contribute positively to community health initiatives. License and Certification Requirements : Active Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain one. Controlled Substance License (CSR / CDS) or willingness to acquire. DEA registered (must be obtained before starting the position). Demonstrated interest and experience in scholarly activities.
