We’re seeking a highly adaptable Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical access hospital, where versatility, collaboration, and strong clinical skills are essential. Our facility averages 10 or fewer births per month (about 100 per year) , and the Emergency Department sees roughly 300–350 patients monthly , creating a dynamic environment where L&D nurses frequently support other units.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother–baby care. We operate a well-baby nursery , and any newborn requiring a higher level of care is transferred to a partnering facility. Because OB volume varies, you will often float as the primary nurse in the Emergency Department and assist on the Med-Surg floor when needed.

This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys practicing across multiple specialties and thrives in a rural critical access setting where every shift can look a little different.
