PHYSICAL :

NARRATIVE :
A banquet cook will handle food preparation for large groups of people. Hours vary based on events. There is NO restaurant.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Preparation and execution of food items required for all events, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Perform cooking, carving, and / or buffet stations as required
- Operates food production equipment according to manufacturers' instructions
- Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing all items
- Plates food items for service (with assistance from banquet staff)
- Maintains the inventory of food and supplies
- Makes sure all items are wrapped, dated, labeled, and stored properly
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices.
- Keeps all areas of the kitchen clean and organized
- Attends staff meetings
- Sets up plating line for banquet
