Job descriptionPatient Demographics : All ages Pediatrics through Geriatrics Average Daily Volume / Census : 3 4 patients per hour Admissions & Rounding : Not Included Consults & Follow-Ups : Yes Case Mix / Clinical Focus Areas : Cold / flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, splinting, wound care; high-acuity cases referred to local ER Beds in Department / Unit : N / A Outpatient Setting Trauma Designation : N / A EMR System : Epic Specialty Backup : Remote physician available for escalations when not on-site Support Staff : Medical assistants and radiologic technologists on-site Leadership & Reporting Structure : Reports to Medical Director Reason for Opening : Team Growth Board Requirements : Board Certified Nurse Practitioner DEA & Certifications : DEA, BLS, ACLS required Credentialing Timeline : 90 days Visa Sponsorship : Not Available Base Salary : Competitive annual salary based on experience and market benchmarks Incentive Bonus Structure : Productivity and quality-based incentives available Relocation Assistance : Negotiable Student Loan Repayment : May be available through employer or external programs CME Allowance : $3,000 annually + 5 paid CME days PTO & Holidays : 20 PTO days + 7 paid holidays Health & Retirement Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision (start day one) 401(k) with match Life & Disability Coverage Malpractice Insurance (with Tail, if applicable) Board Status : Board Certified Nurse Practitioner State License Required : Active Pennsylvania License or Eligibility to Apply Certifications : ACLS, BLS Experience : Minimum 2 years in urgent care or 1 year in emergency medicine required Additional Requirements : Comfortable seeing all age groups and performing splinting and wound care procedures Deliver urgent care services to a diverse patient population across all age groups Perform minor procedures including splinting, wound care, and management of minor burns and injuries Triage and refer high-acuity patients to appropriate emergency services Collaborate with on-site and remote physician providers as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR system About the Area : Hershey, PA A family-friendly town known as The Sweetest Place on Earth, offering a charming blend of small-town warmth and metropolitan amenities Local Attractions : Hersheypark, Chocolate World, ZooAmerica, local breweries, hiking trails, and more School System : Highly rated public and private school options in the Derry Township area Housing : Affordable suburban living with access to parks, trails, and family-oriented neighborhoods Demographic & Professional Profile : Ideal for young professionals, families, and healthcare workers Nearby Cities : 20 minutes from Harrisburg, 1.5 hours from Baltimore, 2 hours from Philadelphia Nearest Airport : Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) Distance from Airport : 12 miles 20 minutes by car
