Total Seed Production is looking for a qualified Diesel Technician / Ag Shop mechanic.
The qualified candidate must have :
- Strong mechanical ability
- Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body, and mechanic parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
- Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Experience working on farm machinery / equipment and / or Semi Tractor / Trailers
- 12-volt electrical diagnostic / repair; DOT inspections
- Hydraulic system diagnostic / repair
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills are needed.
Other skills preferred but not required :
Standard work hours are 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm Monday thru Friday but must be willing and able to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons. Having a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team is a must!
