RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns
• Plan and implement patient and family education programs
• Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and situations
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and develop individualized care plans
• Implement identified plans of care and employ strategies to promote health and safety
• Work varied shifts in a busy and stressful environment
• Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain professional demeanor at all times
• Required certifications : Montana RN License, American Heart Association BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider, STABLE certification
• One year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or Intensive Care nursing experience required
• Must live at least 90 miles away from facility to be considered
• Complete stroke competency training including two hours initial education within one year of hire and one hour annually
• Facility reserves right to cancel three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Must demonstrate creativity, problem analysis, decision making abilities, and strong interpersonal skills
