Job Description - Specific Job Requirements - Duties & Responsibilities

• Must possess a good driving and safety record
• Must have Class B CDL (Class A Preferred), with endorsements for type of equipment operated
• Must possess a valid DOT Physical Card
• Must have a good working knowledge of securing loads
• Must possess basic mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Ability to read maps and independently plan trips.
• Must be familiar with routes on Fort Polk and in the immediate areas
• Must pass random and scheduled drug testing.
• Perform operation of a variety of vehicles including vans, busses, box trucks, stake trucks.
• Conducts daily operator inspection for vehicles operated.
• Completes trip tickets entering required information for all jobs

Other Requirements :

Endorsement : "P" Passenger endorsement required

Restrictions : "63" Airbrakes restriction required

Working knowledge of the following :

44 Passenger bus operations

Tractor / Trailer operations. Including proper hookup / disconnect from trailer

RGN operations is a plus

All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
