Responsibilities Acute care hospital setting in a Level 1 trauma center CT department with 8 treatment areas using Siemens equipment and Bracco contrast injectors Mixed patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics with high acuity and fast-paced environment Common procedures include CTAs, cardiac imaging, perfusion studies, and imaging for a busy OR and ER Night shifts, 12 hours each (6 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM), with set rotation : Week 1 (Sun / Tues / Wed), Week 2 (Sun / Mon / Sat) Potential floating between main campus and UC campus (stand-alone ER), and cross-coverage in MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound as needed Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in an environment with constant changes Successful candidates are self-motivated, team-oriented, and possess strong follow-up and customer service skills Radiation badge is provided Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas and must be removed prior to starting Up to 36-40 hours of department-specific orientation provided Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs RTO requests must be submitted upfront and may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract; additional RTO is not approved Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by CommonSpirit facilities in the past year Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from facility; eligibility determined by driver's license address Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience required Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required CT (ARRT-CT) certification preferred Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted Level 1 trauma and prior travel assignment experience required Must be proficient in both CT and X-ray imaging for overnight shifts Ability to perform venipuncture as required Driver’s license required for compliance with 50-mile radius rule Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627607.
