Ascent Hospitality is looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to join our team as Food & Beverage Supervisor!
The Food and Beverage Supervisor's role is to support the F&B Manager, while providing leadership and guidance to the F&B Team; encouraging and ensuring Team Members are working together in order to provide optimum service and safety to all guests and patrons; ensuring needs are met at the highest service levels; assign and check opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies, cleaning all equipment and assigned F&B areas; inspect restaurant and storage areas for organization, maintenance and cleanliness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Ability to uphold The Company and Brand standards, policies and procedures and hold all staff members accountable for sameAbility to organize and prioritize all work assignments and delegate work to the appropriate staff membersAbility to direct service on the floor, embracing, articulating, and reflecting the culture of the hotel and brand and follow-up where necessaryMaintain applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guestsEnsure employees' appearances appropriately reflects the company imageInfluence the team to embrace, articulate, and reflect our Core ValuesPossess complete knowledge and enforcement of all food and beverage menus including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentationPossess complete knowledge of all Hospitality StandardsPractice and ensure compliance with proper cash handling and operation of the point-of-sale systemAttend all meetings as requiredDisplay and teach professional service techniques and ensure the sameAssist in training and evaluating staff membersEnsure clean, safe and orderly work areas for employees and guestsEnsure that all cashier functions, after shift status forms and cover counts are performed adequately and correctlyEnsure completion of all F&B and general storeroom requisitions for Restaurant(s) and In-Room DiningEnsure that In-Room Dining service and tray removal times are within the established guidelinesConduct daily pre-shift meetings at all meal periodsEnsure that a step of service is stressed at every pre-shift meetingEnsure that the reservation system is functioning for maximum efficiencyAny other duties as required by the Restaurant Manager to assist in the direction of the departmentSPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Required to have current food handler's card and alcohol service certifications as required by federal / state / local lawsMinimum (3) three years' experience in the hospitality industry in food and beverage where the experience is heavily guest focused preferredHigh School education is required.EEO Employer
