Description : ORIENTATION IS MON-FRI ON DAYS FOR 2-3 WEEKS Includes time in Springfield at Mercy Medical Center

Position Purpose : Completes patient registrations / pre-registration processes following department procedures using identified technology systems. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department / hospital and web-based systems.

What you will do :

• Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions
• Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits
• Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are
• Collects non-covered fees
