Radiology Physician at Integrity Locums summary :

The Radiology Physician provides essential imaging services in a busy hospital-based setting, covering multiple facilities with a focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology. This role includes both diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures, requiring board certification in radiology and fellowship training in MSK radiology. The position involves a flexible schedule with intermittent call duties, and offers opportunities for clinical research.

Coverage Needed

  • ASAP - ongoing
  • Multiple facilities

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8 : 00 am-4 : 00 pm
  • 2 Types of Call : Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week

    • Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year

    Clinical Details

  • Growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across multiple facilities
  • Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities / procedures relevant to MSK imaging
  • This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection / aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue / bone biopsy
  • Practice setting is hospital-based
  • Average Number of Cases Per Day : Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs / CT / Ultrasound
  • Trauma Level / Designation : 1-2
  • Number of Radiologists in Practice : Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE
  • Teleradiology is not used for MSK
  • Patient Age Demographic : All ages, but pediatrics not required
  • There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • Fellowship-Trained in MSK Radiology
  • Active IL license or already in process
  • BLS
  • State experience with procedures : MRI, CT, joint injection / aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue / bone biopsy
  • Will consider both on-site and remote candidates

    • Call

  • Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS / Voice recognition systems

    • EMR

  • Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate
