Organization Overview

Lilly is designing and building a new state-of-the-art Parenteral, Device Assembly, and Packaging Facility in Concord, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop a cutting-edge facility and Quality System from the ground up.

Role Description

The QA Specialist – Stat Sort is responsible for manual visual inspection of 100% inspection of Parenteral product units. They support Operations in final defect classification and routine defect investigations. The role also involves training and qualifying inspection Operators, ensuring proper sampling and documentation of inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices and operational documents.
• Perform manual visual statistical sorting inspection in line with production schedules.
• Document defect classifications within manufacturing tickets.
• Sample final semi-finished products, deliver to laboratories, and document results.
• Support training and qualification of inspection personnel.
• Assist with defect classification investigations.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.30 to $39.06 hourly, depending on experience and location. Benefits include a 401(k), pension, health coverage, flexible spending, life insurance, and wellness programs. Lilly reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits at its discretion.
