Overview

Executive Search Associates is conducting a search for a Surgical Services Director. This position will oversee Surgical Services for an acute care hospital in Southeastern Iowa.

The Director of Surgical Services leads all surgical operations, from staffing decisions to maintaining a patient-focused environment. This person will oversee various aspects of patient care, participate in hospital committees, and provide leadership aligned with the organization's goals. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the role involves budgeting, managing staff, ensuring safety and compliance, and fostering positive relationships with medical staff. The Director will drive quality improvement, promote communication and inclusivity, and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements :

• Two years of clinical leadership
• Five years of related clinical experience
• Nursing degree, required
• CNOR, preferred
