Position Description
Do you thrive in environments in which you are learning new things daily? Do you like working with a team to help clients generate novel discoveries through data science? If so, QIAGEN Digital Insights (QDI) may be the right place for you. QDI is the worldwide leader in software solutions for multi‑omic data analysis and interpretation. We are expanding our team of account managers responsible for helping to grow our business with commercial and biotech customers. The Key Account Manager, Commercial West will lead activities to identify and drive opportunities to increase the use of QIAGEN Digital Insights technologies, products, and services at small and mid‑sized pharma and biotech in the western United States, with a focus on California. This role involves expanding your professional network within new and existing accounts to identify key contacts; identifying critical business issues and proposing software and service solutions; working closely with other members of the QDI team to pursue sales opportunities, both new and renewal.

The estimated base salary and commission range for this position is $180,000 - $215,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and other job‑related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan and generous benefits.
